Filter Queen Majestic Canister Vacuum
I bought this vacuum at a yard sale for . All it needed was a little TLC. One of my favorite vacuums, and also very quiet.

Any idea what years were the 95X manufactured? I thought it was early 90’s but I’m not sure.

it will last better than a filter queen any day and the riccar uses metal parts not wood or plastic

oh really. what is your vacuum made of? i have yet to see a riccar made of all metal. and if you say that it is then you are a LIAR. every riccar on the market is completly hosed in a cheep flimsy plastic. even miele is made of plastic, i dont care how expesive it is.

siplicity is the same as riccar made by the same company. i own a simplicity it lasted oh about 6 years then the motor bearings went out. Yes they use a beater bar made of metal and yes it can groom the carpet but the suction lacks like all uprights. any canister can out clean a upright any day. your one of those types that cannot think outside the box. filter queens clean very well and yes i stand by that. your like the dyson lovers who think their over priced piece of plastic isbest. meh

Haha the filter queen is the best it will always be the best. Hell its better then hepa or miele anyday. Its metal not plastic. The powerhead cleans deeper then anyother one.

My grandma has a 1960s era Filter Queen vacuum she bought new.
Hers is the same basic shape, but it’s brown and chrome. The thing’s been working year after year after year flawlessly.

The camera adjusts volume automatically, so everything seems the same loudness. If it was loud in person, you wouldn’t hear me talking over it that easy

filter queen service sucks. It is very expensive. Yesterday i smoked the electrical wired hose. No fuse protection. Thank you. For enthousiasts: you can buy 10 vacuumcleaners for the price of 1 filter queen. Yep…i go for 10.

@partyonman1959 Filter Queen is better in some ways, actually.
Like filtration. FILTERQUEEN, FILTRATION! OMG!

@donwilly That’s probably your fault you smoked the hose, so of course they wouldn’t cover it. Even if they should for w/e reason it doesn’t make the product bad.
And sure, you can buy 10 crap vacs, but they will all perform 1/10 as well as a Filter Queen.
– Oh, and last about 1/30 – 1/60 as long. No exaggeration.

@FeeLtheHertZ No, filter queen has no fuse protection. The gave lifetime for the hose. I can not protect the electrical current in the hose. By the way: i am an electrical engineer. And this is not the way for electrical protection. A very dangerous situation. All vacuum cleaners have better protection. Simply: the have one. And the times that the others perfomed 1/10 off a filter queen are fare gone.
